Texas Association for School Nutrition
The Texas Association for School Nutrition (TASN) is a professional organization for all levels of school food service professionals. TASN provides resources that enhance and promote non-profit child nutrition programs for the benefit of our schoolchildren. TASN is committed to providing leadership assistance, nutritional information, and program guidance to all school food authorities in developing effective and comprehensive nutrition services.
TASN Offers:
- A state certification program for school foodservice professionals that is recognized by local school districts, state and federal agencies, and other professional organizations.
- A voice for Texas school foodservice professionals through legislative advocacy.
- The opportunity to network and build relationships with other school foodservice professionals and industry partners.
- Annual meetings complete with training opportunities, legislative discussion, and networking.
